This is my newest finished piece. It is 28″ tall X 22″ wide. As the title shows it’s called Castle Clown. In this piece I used photographs, polymer clay, acrylic paint, shells, sea glass and texture medium. I had a great time creating this piece. The idea began with the photograph of the clown fish hiding in their anemone. I took this photo at the aquarium on FT Fisher and just began envisioning the anemone as a part of a castle complex. So I painted, and sculpted the castle with the anemone as it’s defensive outer wall. I think my favorite part of this piece was painting the bubbles. I really had fun with those.
