Camping in the Mountains

Mountain View

So I have been taking a little bit of a break from doing actual art work at the moment. I have been working on a story and letting some ideas for other work sit and stew. But we have been having a good time. This last week end we had a camping excurison up to Grandfather Mountain. It was really cold, and extreamely windy! On top of the mountain the wind was the strongest I have ever been in. It was so strong I could lean over and not fall. At one point it also felt like one of those dreams where you are trying to run but you can’t get anywhere. The wind was so strong at one point I couldn’t lift my legs to walk into it! So I was greatly impressed. The leaves were also turning colors so it was quite beautiful. All our stuff needed to be washed three times to get the wood smoke smell out of them, but all in all it was a really fun weekend.
