Everyone has heard some variant of the saying “can’t see the forest for the trees.” It makes a very valid point. But not seeing the trees for the forest can be just as grievous an error. Sometimes the forest can be overwhelming. Sometimes the forest has no charm or beauty. But the trees can have a mystique all their own. A dynamic individuality only appreciated when seen close up. So take a break from the forest every now and again and allow a part to be the whole. There are great beauties to be found if we take the time to look closely.
