It’s December 31, a day to look back on the year past and look forward to the adventures of the next year. So as I look back on the year I remember-a lot of rain! I think I had more rainy shows this year than the past three years combined. However despite mother nature putting a damper on show sales I had many pieces find new homes, had a creatively prolific year and leave 2013 in a position to continue creating in 2014. I am proud of the work I have done in 2013 and look forward to growing and expanding in 2014.
As always I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported me this year. While “Art” has many intangible values working artist know that there are real concrete costs involved in creating and marketing artworks (as well as more hours than we really want to count). We can not create and share our visions without the support of others. I consider myself lucky to have such great patrons and I just want to end the year by saying- Thank you! I could not do it without you!
Here is a selection of pieces that found new homes this year.
