I have always wanted to have a “true” art journal. Which to me is a journal that is visually appealing as well as semi-documentary. Having all my art things packed away the past couple months gave me the kick in the butt I needed. I now devote time to working on it instead of simply wishing I had one. It’s a different mental process that I am enjoying as a counter point to working on larger pieces. It’s part evolving doodle, part documentation and part thought out design. It’s freeing to work on small ideas without the pressure to turn them into a larger piece. So here are some of the pages I have created.
