Back to Painting!

These past couple months have not been great for my painting productivity. I have had many other obligations that have required my time and sapped my creative energy. Some have been other creative projects while others fall into the category of “life.” We have had to renovate an Airstream so we had a place to live (for full story see http://www.rivethallreview.wordpress.com), taxes, paperwork…But I am determined to do more painting in the next couple months! I will have a show at Open Ground Studios in July, so with a deadline to motivate me I must be productive! This week I was able to put a painting into the “it’s mostly done except for the waiting to make sure there are no details to tweak” category which was very gratifying. So here is the first of what I hope are many new paintings in the next few months!
