Other than art journaling I have been working on a sketch for a new painting. This is my leaf boat regatta picture. I am looking forward to painting this one!
I have always wanted to have a “true” art journal. Which to me is a journal that is visually appealing as well as semi-documentary. Having all my art things packed away the past couple months gave me the kick in the butt I needed. I now devote time to working on it instead of simplyContinue reading “Art Journaling”
Well I had my last show in the Charlotte area for the next couple years. If I have to leave I am definitely leaving on a high note. We had absolutely perfect show weather-PERFECT! Mid 70’s, no rain, no wind. If only all shows could have weather like that. After many shows of rain and windContinue reading “Thanks Charlotte!”
Walt the Walrus-Was $275.00 NOW $115. He has no frame so I will gladly ship him for free. He would be easy to reframe. 18″x12″ watercolor over high school homework papers.
My husband was accepted to graduate school in CA. We didn’t think we would be moving until next summer-buuut his start date got changed. So we will be moving at the end of this November (yes a month and a couple weeks!) and will be living there for about a year and a half. IContinue reading “Moving Sale!!!”

I had the tent weighted, the walls zip tied and bungied to the tent and all the weight of theContinue reading “Asheville Art Week”
I will be in Charlotte this weekend! Festival in the Park at Freedom Park from 4-9:30 on Friday, 10-9:30 on Saturday and 11am-6 on Sunday. I have lots of new pieces since my last trip to Charlotte so come on out and bring friends!!:)
I think my hand has cramped into a painting claw-but it’s been worth it! I have completed two new pieces in time for the Festival in the Park in Charlotte. They are both 24″x18″ painted with watercolor and over vintage love letters from the 1950’s.
I have been working on some new sketches. I am looking forward to painting these… But I have a few more sketches to do before I start painting. Here is the first And here is the second
I wasn’t expecting much from this show. Last year I sold very little-but I did win the award for painting. The result of that being a free booth space this year. So with very little in the way of expectations my husband and I set up in the steadily darkening hours of Friday night. ByContinue reading “Lazy Daze”
